Product prototype — before big investments

Feature debates burn weeks and still collapse in development. We build a clickable prototype: hypothesis, flows, key screens — the decision is visible, not just words.

Why it matters

Without a prototype you fund a blind build: rework, slipped dates, a product the team and the market read differently. A prototype settles arguments and kills weak hypotheses cheaper than a month of code.

What we do

In this engagement:

  • Flow and boundaries — what’s in the prototype and what we deliberately leave out
  • UX for core screens — not “the whole product”, the path that carries the value
  • Figma or thin code — clickable mock or a working shell, matched to how you’ll demo it
  • Tests with real people — stakeholders and users, not an internal “we like it”
  • Path to MVP — what to build next, in what order, and what you can skip

How we work

Brief and hypothesis → flows and scope → UX for core screens → clickable Figma or thin code → walkthrough with you and, where possible, users. 1–3 weeks to a first artifact you can click and show. Then the call: build the MVP, rework the hypothesis, or stop without burning budget.

FAQ

How long does a prototype take and what do we get?

Typically 1–3 weeks to a first artifact: flows, UX for core screens, and either clickable Figma or thin code — depending on the goal (investors, team alignment, user tests). Timeline and format are locked after a short scope review.

What drives the price, and can we go straight to MVP?

Price depends on scenario count, UX depth, format (mock vs thin code), and whether user tests are in scope. Sometimes you don’t need a prototype — and we’ll say so. If the hypothesis is already proven, we can frame the MVP directly; if not, a prototype is cheaper than rewriting the product.

Pretty screens mean nothing if you can't see what users pay for.
